Who are "Impact Heroes"?

From January to June, Earth Company will organize a series of monthly online sessions where you will learn and delve into the concept of regenerative leadership as well as practical knowledge needed to accelerate your impact and organizational development.

April 21–25, 2026

An all-expense-paid 5-day camp in Bali, gathering all the heroes to meet each other, the Earth Company team, as well as potential collaborators and supporters.

Some contents of the Heroes Bali Camp:

• “Heroes Night” event: This public event, held at Mana Earthly Paradise, invites each hero to present their vision of a regenerative future. As part of our commitment to planting the seeds for future collaborations, Earth Company will invite impact investors, philanthropists, accelerators, and other potential collaborators to hear and engage with your vision.
• Bootcamp Day (1-day mentoring): After conducting a thorough needs assessment, the Earth Company team and our network of experts will accompany each hero, holding face-to-face mentoring sessions and committing to create tangible outputs such as (but not limited to): financial projections, marketing strategy, and fundraising deck.
• Stay at Mana Earthly Paradise: Heroes will be staying at Mana Earthly Paradise, the award-winning eco-villas and the first B Corp accommodation in Southeast Asia, and immerse themselves in a regenerative way of living while participating in the Heroes Camp.

Earth Company team and experts from our network will be available for mentoring sessions to each hero once every quarter.

Based on the needs shared by each hero in the first 6 months of the program, Earth Company will, throughout the year, try to introduce as many opportunities as possible whenever occasion arises within our network.

Earth Company provides three years of life-changing support customized specifically to maximize the Impact Heroes of the Year’s potential, including:

💰 Fundraising
Together with our selected Impact Hero, we will conduct a joint fundraising initiative to acquire funding that sustains core operations or implement a project with lasting, transformative impact.

🧠 Leadership Coaching
We equip the Impact Hero with skills needed to realise the regenerative future they envision and bring holistic meaningful impact to the communities they serve.

📈 Business Development
We build opportunities through expanding networks in Japan and beyond, increasing media presence, and/or developing revenue-generating programs to enable financial sustainability.

🌐 Marketing Support
We help build brand identity and marketing tools for the Impact Hero to better communicate their purpose, their work and their impact to enable more effective fundraising and awareness building.

🤝 Management Consulting
We provide skill-building workshops to help Impact Heroes with everything they need to know in order to manage a mission-driven organization effectively.

This customized support begins after the L2R Acceleration Program.

✅  Do you have innovative solutions that bring meaningful impact to a wide range of stakeholders?

✅  Do you serve on the leadership team of a social-purpose organization?

✅  Are you committed to the cause long-term?

✅  Are you able to commit a reasonable amount of time to work with Earth Company’s support team?

✅  Are you able to regularly communicate with the Earth Company team in English by email and online calls?

We accept applicants who are working on projects in developing countries around the Asia-Pacific region.

For-profit companies and nonprofit organizations—and everything in between—are eligible.

While most successful candidates run organizations with annual budgets in the range of US$100k-1M, we welcome applications from smaller and larger organizations.

Yes, we accept applications from former applicants, former candidates, and previous Impact Hero cohort members.

After the submission deadline, the entire selection process is conducted within two months.

• August 20, 2025: Application opens
• October 20, 2025: Applications are now closed
• By October 25, 2025: Shortlisted candidates will be notified by Earth Company and interviews will be scheduled
• November 12, 2025: The screening and interview period by the selection committee starts to narrow down the shortlist and form the Class of 2026, consisting of up to 10 changemakers.
• November 30, 2025: All members of the Impact Hero Class of 2026 will be individually notified of the final decisions

Yes, it is. Travel expenses for the Heroes Bali camp will be covered by Earth Company.

If you are selected for the Impact Hero Class of 2026, you can participate as a cohort member in a one-year Lead-to-Regenerate Acceleration Program. In the middle of the program, one individual will be named the Impact Hero of the Year—receiving tailored support from Earth Company for a total of three years.

In partnership with each Impact Hero of the Year, we fundraise for projects that amplify their impact. The level of support depends on the project’s scope and the funds raised—previous Heroes have raised within the range of US$90,000-150,000.
