In the spirit of collaboration and regeneration, Impact Academy recently hosted a transformative 6-day program for 30 participants, comprising 18 Japanese and 12 Indonesian students from higher learning institutions like Toyo University, Udayana University, Ganesha University of Education, and Bali State Polytechnic. Divided into six groups, these budding changemakers embarked on a journey to co-create regenerative futures with local communities, embodying the spirit of global citizens.

The initial days (Day 1–3) were not just about building teams; they fostered a sense of unity and shared purpose. Through ice-breaking games, nature walks, and engaging activities, participants developed meaningful connections. They delved into the world of sustainability, gaining insights from the life stories of our co-founders Tomo and Aska, and exploring local social enterprises like Indosole and ChopValue that are working to solve some of Bali’s biggest environmental challenges.

The subsequent days (Day 4–6) were dedicated to shaping ideas that would be presented at the program's culmination. Intensive brainstorming sessions, constructive feedback from mentors, and continuous iterations honed not only their concepts but also their communication and presentation skills. The participants demonstrated remarkable growth, showcasing improved eye contact, enhanced presentation skills, and even tangible demonstration of their ideas.
As the program reached its peak, participants shared reflections of their transformative experiences. One participant, in particular, expressed a profound personal transformation – evolving from initial shyness to embracing collaboration with newfound confidence.

Impact Academy's endeavor to nurture future changemakers was evident in the reflections of these young minds. The program not only equipped them with the tools to co-create regenerative futures but also instilled a sense of resilience and global citizenship, as well as inspiring action.
