アジア諸国のソーシャルセクターには、それぞれキーパーソンがいます。インドネシアはあの人、タイはあの人、という具合に、ほぼ暗黙の了解として周りに認められ、業界を牽引する存在です。彼らは、重要な国際会議には大体参加していますし、国内外をつなげる橋渡し役として大活躍しています。私の知る限り、台湾のソーシャルセクターにもそのようなキーパーソンが何人か存在しており、コーリーはそのうちの一人です。
そんな彼をお招きして、今回は対談の機会を設けますが、彼の魅力はいくつかあると思います。まずは、彼自らスタートアップを立ち上げ、急成長を遂げ、IPO達成するまで開花させた有能な起業家であること。そして、その実体験をもとに、大学で教鞭をとりいわゆるパーパス経営を広め、さらにB CorpやSDGsを台湾で普及させていること。その活動は、日本、インドネシアでのEarth Companyの活動と親和性が高いです。個人的には、彼の陽気で気さくな性格が一番の魅力だと感じています！一人間として、一父親として、地球を良くしたいと挑むその姿勢は周りの人を惹きつけます。

Earth Company CXO 濱川知宏
A serial entrepreneur and investor turned social impact ecosystem builder, following a successful IPO of the medical B2B e-commerce company he had driven to a global top 50 e-business ranking, he bought, built, and sold companies in industries ranging from pharmaceuticals to fashion.
As a father of three, Corey realized the need for individuals to take action to protect the environment and combat climate change. Corey started DOMI where he serves as “Chief Gardener.” Seeing the need for a deepening of social business in ASIA, Corey co-founded the Asia-Pacific B Corp Association (APBCA) and launched an official B Lab Taiwan and TIIA (Taiwan Impact Investment Association).
He is an adjunct assistant professor of Public Policy and social innovation at Fu Jen University, he also lectures at Waseda University, Japan, Srinakharinwirot University, Thailand, National Taiwan University, teaching leadership, social innovation in relation to public policy, and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Corey studied Bioscience at the University of Alberta in Canada, Doctor of Chiropractic at Life University, Atlanta, US, Fashion Collection from Domus Academy of Design in Milan, Italy, and an Executive MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
