Our collaboration with the Singapore-based education tech company, Saturday Kids, allows us to offer families a unique opportunity to explore sustainability through hands-on experiences in the great outdoors.
The co-designed program, “Saturday Kids: Unplugged”, is specially crafted to encourage families with children between the ages of 6 and 12 to unplug from the tech-saturated world and embrace nature. It’s a perfect blend of fun, excitement, and educational value.
In our recent pilot program, we had the pleasure of hosting three parents and three children. During their time with us, the families participated in immersive activities that introduced them to the Balinese culture and helped them reconnect with nature.
The families had an opportunity to unleash their creativity through a variety of engaging workshops, all while immersed in the beauty of Bali’s natural environment. Additionally, we introduced them to different on-the-ground innovators where they learned about their efforts to preserve Balinese culture and nature.
We are thrilled to offer this program to more families in the future and hope to inspire a love of sustainability and nature in all our participants. Here’s what one of the parents who attended had to say about our program.
“I gained a fresh perspective on sustainability, wellness and wholeheartedness after my trip to Bali… …As a family we had many wholehearted moments in new experiences of Balinese culture and cuisine, sustainability and simply having fun.” – Edwin Ting
