Earth Company recently had the honor to be part of TBN ASIA’s annual conference held in Bali, centralized on the theme of building  collaborations for a sustainable future.

Our engagement in this year’s TBN Asia conference was broken down into three different components.

Sustainable Solutions Exhibition

Firstly, Earth Company had the opportunity to be present at the conference’s exhibition together with many vendors that are striving to accelerate social and environmental sustainability. With an audience base that came from diverse backgrounds and industries, we are grateful to have made so many meaningful connections that will hopefully lead to fruitful collaborations in the future!

Discussing The Future of Green Economy

Tomo Hamakawa, Earth Company’s co-founder and Chief Exploration Officer, moderated one of the plenary sessions focused on “The Future of Green Economy”. This session delved deep into the aspect of sustainability and how industries can achieve meaningful change to realize regenerative futures. Bottom-line, all speakers urged the need for collaboration, the need for a holistic approach to advance the agenda for a ‘green economy’, while addressing issues of greenwashing.

Impactful Excursions

For the second year running, a total of 42 delegates – that consisted of entrepreneurs, impact investors, corporate professionals, and development folks –  visited Mana Earthly Paradise for a tour of the property and learned about the eco-technologies and circular practices that are being implemented.

We are grateful and glad to have partnered again with TBN Asia. We hope to have more opportunities in the future to nurture even more corporate changemakers.
